Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Mad Tap Bird Go ("the App"), developed by WenHub ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Effective Date: January 2025
1. Information We Collect
Mad Tap Bird Go does not directly collect any personal information from its users. Specifically:
- No account creation, login, or registration is required.
- No names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers are collected by the App.
- No gameplay data is transmitted to our servers.
However, our third-party advertising partner (Google AdMob) may automatically collect certain technical information as described in Section 4 below.
2. How Data Is Used
The limited data collected by Google AdMob is used solely for:
- Serving non-personalized advertisements (banner ads, rewarded video ads, and interstitial ads).
- Fraud prevention and security purposes.
- Ad performance measurement and frequency capping.
We do not use any data for profiling, tracking, or personalized advertising.
3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Mad Tap Bird Go is designed for a general audience, including children under the age of 13. We take children's privacy seriously and have implemented the following safeguards:
- Tag for Child-Directed Treatment is enabled (TagForChildDirectedTreatment = True).
- Maximum Ad Content Rating is set to G (General Audience), ensuring only age-appropriate ads are displayed.
- Personalized advertising is disabled — no behavioral profiles are created.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email below, and we will take steps to address the concern.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
Google AdMob
Google AdMob is used to display advertisements within the App. Even with personalized ads disabled, AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID).
- IP address (used for general location-based ad serving, not precise tracking).
- Basic device information (device model, operating system version).
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. For more information, please review:
The App does not use Firebase, Unity Analytics, or any other third-party analytics or tracking services.
5. Local Data Storage
All game progress data — including scores, coins, and unlocked items — is stored locally on your device only. This data is:
- Never transmitted to any server.
- Never shared with third parties.
- Deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data.
6. Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. The only data processing that occurs is through Google AdMob as described in Section 4, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following options regarding data collected by advertising services:
- Reset your Advertising ID: You can reset your device's advertising identifier through your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Advertising on iOS, or Settings > Google > Ads on Android).
- Opt out of interest-based ads: You can limit ad tracking through your device settings.
- Delete local game data: Clear the App's data or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored game progress.
8. Consent
By downloading and using Mad Tap Bird Go, you consent to this Privacy Policy. For users in regions requiring explicit consent for data processing (such as the EU/EEA under GDPR), the App relies on Google's consent mechanisms for ad-related data collection.
Parents and guardians who allow their children to use the App consent to the limited data collection by Google AdMob as described in this policy, which is configured to comply with COPPA requirements.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
